If you or someone you know is on a contract with Sprint, please read. A year ago I purchased a Sprint 4G LTE phone with a 2 year contract, I was unaware at the time that Sprint had no 4G service available, and I began my unlimited data plan, grave mistake. When I realized this, I marched to the store and I was told 4G service would be available within the next few months, that was a lie. after days and months of research, I realized this is an ongoing battle between Sprints' customers' and Sprint, and has been for some years.
I had Sprint service for a year when I came to the realization "I am being scammed." I was no longer paying for unlimited service, (I thought,) only to receive 3G data, for nearly $100/month. I originally signed a contract for $70/month, believing I would receive a 4G network.
Without further adue, let me explain how I have resolved my problem in this certain situation, and also how other Sprint customers' who are experiencing this same problem can find "early justice."
After extensive research, 2 late bills, and a week extension, the day had arrived where I was to either pay my bill, or break my contract. Unfortunately, I have been out of a job for some time, and have not the financial requirements to do such. and then, there was Ting. Yes, Ting is a pre-paid network provider that will switch your carrier from Sprint, to theirs, for no charge!! The catch is, when you do so, your Sprint contract will be broken, therefore binding you to pay for the remaining etf (estimated termination fee.) However, if you're in a financial situation, (as I was) this service is a golden opportunity to not have to reactivate a new service elsewhere, or worse, purchase a new phone/contract.
Ting provides no contract service. You only pay for what you use! They have a divided service charge for each service, including data, voice, and text. The minimal payment, $0, if you never use the service (voip, will explain later) or as low ads $3/100 voice, $3/100 text messages, $3/2GB data. Their rates increase in brackets labeled small, ($3/month for each individual service, (utilizing all services would cost $9/month)), medium, large, xl. Without having the 4G network, I rarely use my phone, so I will be paying next to nothing on my phone bill for now on.
With a year left on my contract, my etf was $240, you can find you're etf by multiplying how many months are left on your contract by $20. I will be paying in installments. I refuse to pay for another year of Sprint service. They can keep their upgrade, Im perfectly happy with the phone I have purchased. Here is a referral link to make the switch https://zbqkbl1m824.ting.com/. its super easy to do, and only takes a minute, with no interruption of service. You can us a prepaid credit card, (if its registered) as I have, your ting bill is automatically deducted monthly. please use my referall link. ty
my referral link will save you and I both $25, this would elitely pay for my phone bill. also. I was cut short due to lack of blog space. if anyone needs help or has questions regarding voip (voice over internet protocol) email me at supertuesday666@gmail.com. I would be glad to explain any further then.
